South University Financial Aid Resources

There are so many financial aid resources available to make it easier and to help people who are in need of and qualify for financial aid to cover the costs of their future education and development. Each and every year students and their families can take advantage of 1 or several of the optional resources you will find here on the next of these web pages.
Much of the financial aid is based on your personal and individual financial/economic situations and circumstances. At South University, they understand and know the importance of financially affording and funding your education, so these ideas offer a variety of ways to start the process and get the ball rolling. Please remember, it is not ever too early to get a jump on the start of the financial aid process. It is important to note, too, that the information on the following web pages is subject to change at any time.
Federal financial aid is your first option for a student loan. Types of Federal financial aid include the following:
  • Federal Grant Programs
  • Federal Loan Programs
  • Federal Work-Study Programs
  • Some institutional aid is available at individual South University campus locations
  • Some South University campus locations operate in states where you may apply for state grants
Please note that state financial aid varies, based on the state of residence of the student and where the school is located.
While it is not critical that you have applied to and been accepted by the South University campus location of your choice, it is important for you to know which South University campus location you are planning to attend. That’s because to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms, you will need to know the FAFSA code for the South University campus location you are interested in.
